Vintage 1950's Union Made Duchess Satin Fit and Flare Magenta Cocktail Dress.
There is no size tag but this is shown on a size small mannequin. Measurements provided below.
This is preowned, true vintage, and has signs of wear. Straps appear to have been shortened/altered. There is minor fading on the straps and light staining on the lining of dress. There is a hole in lining(lining almost feels like paper). Dress zips at back and has 2 hook and eye closures. The top eye is in need of repair or replacing(originally made from thread, could just be sewn). Zipper will come unzipped if that top hook and eye is not hooked. Dress has wrinkles and I was afraid of ruining it with my steamer.
Pit to pit is 17 1/4" and stretches to 33".
Waist measured flat across is 12 3/4" and has just a bit of give to 13 1/4".
Hip to hip is approx 27".
Length is 40" from top of shoulder strap to hem.
Armhole circumference is approx 19".
