PRALENT VOLKSUNST or Precious Folk Art is absolutely true of this wood figural incense smoker from Steinbach. It is 10 1/2" tall. He carries an Octoberfest sign that says Oktoberfest-Musi- Gaudi Radi (Oktoberfest- Music- Fun Radio.) The sign is mounted on a pole with dangling trinkets and wares. In his free hand, he carries a mug of German Lowenbrau beer. On his back he carries a large drum that conceals a music box (radio.) The music box plays "Ein Prosit Der Gemutlichkeit" the all time favorite of Oktoberfest which in English would be " A Toast to Well-Being." This smoker is in good unused vintage condition. The music box plays well. There is an original Steinbach paper label in the center of the drum shaped music box. Please see all pictures for complete detail. Thank you for your interest.
