Beautiful, pristine Smith Corona classic - black with satin pin stripes. Original spools with fresh ribbon installed. Recently cleaned and serviced and types clean, comfortably, and fast. Has a great feel to the keys. The case is showing its age - see photos as I’ve tried to show details. It does its job of protecting the typewriter, it latches, but has seen better days. Slight misty smell - I’m told although I have not noticed it. Has a more metallic and oil aroma in my experience
The S C Sterling is a favorite. Built to last generations. Pleasing to look at and a pleasure to type on
