Used; in excellent antique condition. It shows minor sign of wear. A hand-painted Sèvres porcelain floral cylindrical inkwell & stand. Made in France. This beautiful inkwell comes with a small, plain & gilt removable porcelain jar which sit in the center where the ink goes. 3 separate cylindrical quill pen holders are attached inside. Decorated/handpainted in gilt & colorful flowers & leaves. A blue letter Z is enclosed inside the two interlaced L's (the French royal cipher) along with a black France word; both are marked at the bottom. It is believed that this inkwell was made in 1777 (see last photo for date code). This inkwell measures 1.75"H x 4.25W" inch in diameter. Measurements are approximate. Ship with extra care.
