Stunning vintage sun or starburst themed large metal oval wall mirror. Probably 1950s-1960s in age, country of origin unknown.
Features a starburst or sun pattern made of individually welded overlapping “leaves.” Has a convex configuration, outer edges of leaves are flush to wall and center is raised 1.5” off wall.
Gold gilt-like finish, lovely vintage patina with some small areas of oxidation or missing gold finish. Please see all pics.
Mirror without cracks or scratches, but 2 tiny chips around the outside edges, not visible when mirror is mounted into frame. One metal welded loop for hanging vertically or horizontally.
Overall in good preowned vintage condition considering age. Large piece, and measures approx 31”H x 25”W x 1.5”D. Interior mirror portion measures approx 16”H x 9.5”W. Weighs close to 6 pounds.
This piece is a showstopper! Would be a wonderful focal point and conversation piece in your vintage, antique, Hollywood Regency, boho glam or MCM home!
