These Pachmayr measuring tape pistols (circa 1960's-1970's) were by far the most interesting advertising piece in a salesmen's sample. Generally they were given out as gifts to clients of the company. They not only made a great conversation piece, but also quite useful for that quick measurement. Over the years, many of these pieces broke or were just thrown out. This piece not only survived but is in perfect condition.
