1950s vintage faux alligator Samsonite suitcase with a rich brown exterior and brass hardware. Slightly tapered shape makes it very stable when set down. Leather trim on the edges, double-pull brass-finished latches prevent accidental opening. Satin lining and clothing divider fastens at the bottom corners to keep clothes neat and organized. Two stretch side pockets for incidentals, and ribbon tie-downs. Brass tag by the handle reads Shwayder Bros. Inc. SAMSONITE Denver, Colorado. Some signs of wear. 21 x 14 x 8”, no key. Very classic, vintage piece for travel use or a prop or decorative collector statement piece.
