This is a rare find! Usually when you find these vintage Asian Rickshaw conical hats, they are wicker and that's that. This one is hand-made with tobacco leaves and overlaid with the typical wicker/rattan structure. You can search and search and you'll be hard-pressed to find another one similar. This was personally gifted to a friend of the family who traveled the world for work decades ago in small Asian village. I can't say exactly where because that is the extent of what i was told, and he is no longer around to give any more details.
