Rare, Hamilton CLD Lyndon wrist watch. This wrist watch was originally produced in 1953 and the production only ran for two years limiting the amount of watches produced. Fun fact, 20 years later, the Hamilton Lyndon watch was used in the iconic movie Jaws as Sheriff Brody (played by actor Roy Scheider) shot the elusive shark.
This watch has been in my collection for quite some time. The Hamilton watch is powered by the Hamilton 748 movement which contains 18 J. This watch was recently serviced in June 2024 and keeping excellent time. This watch also has a new mainspring, new crystal and original band. Also, has a new original winding crown which is extremely difficult to find the original.
Recently, service indicates this watch has been fully disassembled, cleaned in a professional watch cleaner with professional watch solutions, lubricated with professional watch grade oils, assembled, and timed. I do not accept returns. Please study all pictures as they are part of the description
