Vintage Signed Hand Carved Collectible Bobby Falwell Wood Box. I’m not an expert in wood. Not sure what kind it is ? If someone knows would appreciate a message. It Measures approximately 6.5” In diameter and 4.5” H. Signed on back at bottom Falwell. Unfortunately this is how I found the box. It’s missing one of the top pieces that sits on top of the box. See pictures. Otherwise it’s in good condition no deep scratches. Gently used. Some minor scratches to the bottom. Still a beautiful hand made wood box. Reasonable offers will be considered. Bobby Reed Falwell (American (Kentucky), 20th century). A medium and heavy carved wood box or desk box circa 1984 of rounded organic form, the top surface with one curved half and a single open basin at bottom surmounted by one swiveling halve. It’s missing one of the Top halves. the box carved from a single piece of wood exhibiting continuous grain across all sections. Incised mark to back bottom Falwell.
